1st Annual Juried Exhibition at the Center for Contemporary Arts in Abilene

The Center for Contemporary Arts in Abilene is hosting its first annual juried exhibition. The prospectus is pretty standard ($25 per image) and the juror, Randy Meador, is a self-proclaimed Cowboy Artist (unsurprising in Texas). The welcome news for artists is that there will be a best-in-show award of $1500, and 10 other awards of $500. Get paid for your work!

Here is the prospectus for more info.

**The author has nothing against cowboy artists, in case you were wondering. Randy's "Longing for Altitude" watercolor is pretty fantastic.
