Texas Tech UPAC 2016

Texas Tech University Public Art Collection (UPAC) has been busy this year. To-date, they have acquired and installed eight works, with seven on the Lubbock campus. (So, there is a reason to walk around a public space other than Pokémon capture!) See the full list of the new works below, then vote for your favorite here.


“Knowledge Structure” by Marco Cianfanelli, located in front of the Research Park (installed late December 2015, dedicated in January 2016)



“Primordial Garden” by Adela Andea, located inside the College of Human Sciences



“Syntaxis Mathematica” by Jonathan Whitfill, located outside the Art 3D Annex



“Illuminated Arboreal Data Codes” by Koryn Rolstad, located outside of the Rawls College of Business



“CEO” by Glenna Goodacre, located outside of the Rawls College of Business



“Mechanism” by Frank Swanson, located outside of the Maddox Engineering Research Center



“Healing Forces” by Mid-Ocean Studio, located on the TTUHSC Abilene campus



Title TBD (neon Masked Rider) by Tony Greer and Larry Simmons, located inside the Jones AT&T Stadium North End Zone club
